To be honest, I am not exactly sure where I am going to go with this blog?

However, for whatever reason, it’s been on my heart to write or maybe share (is the better word) my latest how to’s, diy’s, dear diaries, etc.

I’m that person who’s always researching, youtubing or on pinterest, finding this and a little of that, so I figured maybe others are the same way?  and if there’s anything I have learned in the last couple of years, when something is on my heart (and stays there) there is a reason for it …

I’ll start out by saying, I am just a gal who is always doing something in the world of crafting, creating and designing.  I love to decorate and do whatever latest diy.  I have an appreciation for artistic things in so many realms … anything from crafting, designing, art, writing, photography, interior design, beauty, fashion, etc.

Okay, so let me begin with a little about myself.  I love the Lord and I graduated from college with a dual degree in Business and Marketing. I am a wife to a wonderful man of God and I am a mommy to three beautiful baby girls! 💗💗💗

I have been a stay-at-home mommy since I became a Mama and during these years, I have taken on many extra things and roles.

First there’s that creative side that I often tap into … I tried a “mommy blog” some years back called “blessedwifeandmommy” I was looking for something that I could do at home to make a little extra cash for me and my family. My initial thought was to go into the coupon-ing world or even make some money by writing, but I quickly realized, it became more of a “dear diary” for me.  A place where I could write down my thoughts and experiences as a mommy, more specifically as a stay-at-home mommy with babies.  I ended up erasing this blog a few years ago 🤷🏻‍♀️ No real reason as to why, I just no longer needed a place to dear diary!

Then a few years ago, wanted something part-time in the working world. So, I found a way to make a little extra cash for us, while staying at home.  As I mentioned above, I love to craft, create and design.  So, I was crafting up my latest DIY (a home decor mesh wreath) and shared it on social media and kid you not (still very thankful) people began placing orders over night.  So, we decided to open up an Etsy Shop and have a little part-time business called JLB Creative Creations. Here I crafted and created Home Decor Wreaths, Centerpieces, etc. as well as Event Decor, such as invitations, thank you’s, banners and so forth.

It was a ton of fun for awhile, but with a young family, a new baby, and all that was going on … plus My Hubby got a raise, we officially said bye, bye to Etsy!

In my latest of new roles. I am now a Scentsy Consultant (I’ll explain more in a blog/post a little later) and a blogger once again. I actually “just” took the leap and got my own “domain” (check it out cozystyling.com) so please follow me in this new journey.

There are many other things that have and continue to keep us busy in this life and I have to say my husband and I say often, “Man, life just seems to fly on by, since having babies!”  WE try more so, to hold onto the moments a bit more these days.

With all the above, I can say, I am truly grateful for so much. I feel blessed that I have been able to take on many extra activities and roles, while being a stay-at-home mommy and that I was able to get in touch with my creative side too.

I have learned a lot about myself in these years. I learned that I still love to write (this was something I did more so in my college years.) As I have mentioned, I love to craft, create and design. I also love to organize this, that and the other. Love to decorate, tap into some photography from time to time, paint and stain, etc. and I am actually enjoying cooking more now too. Just not cooking raw chicken! 😬

I am also a girly girl who loves all the things. Like fashion, make-up, skincare, health, fitness, etc. and I am gluten free, (this I will explain more so in a blog/post) at some point, but with all of this I try my best to live a healthy, more natural, dye-free, gluten free, proactive life.

There’s much more to say, but this will do for now …

What’s my initial plan for this blog? Well, I guess I’ll be writing, and blogging, photographing at times and posting my latest diys, recipes, crafts, etc.

So stay tuned!

Take Care, Jennifer – xo
